November

This little girl walked to Abbina with Brent and I. Her name is Saviour and I don't know much about her home life but I know it isn't very good. She was so sweet this day and happy to walk along quietly. There were days she came with other children to play and she wasn't very sweet!
Brent spends hours on the floor with his toys. His imagination isn't what Austin's is but he still has plenty!
This dump truck delivered sand. Our water tower is currently metal and is rusting through. We are hoping a concrete one will work better.
The only vehicle available was this one which isn't the end of the world, but it was at the shop because it wouldn't start. Thankfully after doing this several times it decided to just start when asked the first time!
The sunsets have been gorgeous! Or maybe we have just been going away enough that we see them. Some day I want a house that I can see sunsets from!
Time for a game before bed. I suddenly remembered another picture I took almost like this one. I looked back and sure enough, Almost exactly a year earlier, but with Jarrell helping yet.
The children found this snail laying eggs one morning.
One crazy Saturday we left all the craziness and went to the beach. What a blessing to live so close to these beautiful places!
After a fellowship meal one Sunday, these two had a discussion of some sort!
We might not be able to see sunsets but we get to see the reflection in the clouds!
Tom and Galyn's daughter had a high fever for several days and since our one teacher was flying to the US for her grandma's funeral anyway, it was decided to home school for a week. I enjoyed it. But with students that aren't used to it, a 4 year old that got used to doing his own thing all day, and a first grader that needs attention, we had a busy week!! Thankfully Kenny doesn't mind washing dishes and helping clean up in the evening! If I was going to do this all the time, we would need to come up with better systems!!
Kelsey loves teaching, so she helped Brent do preschool books and still got all her school work done.
We had a gathering at the shop with the students that are finishing up school and some of the local shop owners. Patricia helped us cook a meal. She made shittoh and we put it in small containers to be packed in with the meals the next day. Shittoh is a spicy, oil and fish and shrimp powder sauce.
Patricia made fried rice, fried chicken and salad.
On our way to town one beautiful evening.
Kelsey and her little friend Della. He is just starting to say a few words.

It is hard to believe that Austin is reading. it still goes slowly but he can read! Our little boy isn't very little anymore!
