New Hope School

School has been going well for Kenny. Recently they sold and dismantled this truck that had been sitting behind the shop.

They tried to keep the work going inside but that truck was such a fascination!

They used a tricycle to haul it away so it needed to be in pieces. It is a lot of fun to take things apart when you don't have to worry about putting them back together!

The cab is off!

Hauling away the motor. Thankfully Living Hope has a skid loader they could use!

You never know what will happen in a day. They all went to see the python that a neighbor caught in a trap.

Having so few people around means the children have to stay with Dad if the ladies are going shopping. Thankfully they can usually entertain themselves just fine around the shop. And if he has a minute, Kenny gets to spend time with them.
Right now they are working on getting the bus ready for Living Hope's new school year.
And the various vehicles in the shop. Fixing cars in Ghana is so much more complicated then in the US as Jarell says. For one, getting parts isn't a call to the parts store. Ernest is a huge help with talking to people on the phone for Kenny. It is hard to understand some people face to face, let alone on the phone. Cars aren't maintained so when they are "spoiled" there isn't just one problem, it is hard to know where to stop and start! The blue car at the bottom of the above picture had sat for several years. It has been here for quite a while but they think they can see a light at the end of the tunnel. It does drive now. Just not well.
