Trusting God?

Just a quick update from Ghana. Just a few quick and simple facts. The virus has been found in 23 people in Ghana. Most people that have it, got it in another country, and then came back here. Only one person has died. All public and social gatherings are banned, including church and all schools.   We missionaries met at Tom and Galyn for church Sunday morning and ate dinner together as well. What is affecting us the most at the moment is flights have been cancelled. A work crew was supposed to fly home tomorrow, Tuesday. At this time it is still not clear how they will get home. They are checking into options and supposedly the US Embassy in Ghana can help them out. Another family on their way home from visiting their daughter in Liberia ended up stranded in Accra so they will be staying in one of the missions houses until at least Saturday. We had tickets to fly back to the US for 10 days in May and those are cancelled as well. We haven't totally given up on being able to go,

Glimpses

It rained a little the one day. The children were sure they were cold and needed to wrap up in blankets. February has been busy and I haven't had much time to write. But many things have been happening. Jarell Zimmerman moved in with us the end of January. Someone asked recently if we are adjusted. I don't know exactly how to answer that. But I think so. He fits into our family well. Kenny really enjoys having him help in the shop and to discuss issues with evenings. They have many things in common and work together well. Jarell brought his skateboard along. The boys were happy to try it out.   A work crew was here the beginning of February to work on the house at Asomdwee. We didn't have a lot to do with them but we enjoyed learning to know them a bit. We hosted a supper at the shop for all the missionaries in the area one Sunday night while they were here. Earl Shirks had family visiting, another mission had a work crew as well, so it was quite the crowd.
