August Snapshots
Greetings to you! It is a beautiful day in Ghana! If you would have told me in January that we would have days like this one, I wouldn't have believed you! This morning I was hanging up wash and suddenly the thought popped into my head, "I wonder if this is what the weather will be like in Heaven?" I kind of doubt there will be "weather". But a day like today; clear blue skies, warm sunshine, balmy breezes. Well, it's just about as perfect as it gets! The sun got rather warm this afternoon. When I hung my last pieces of wash up just before noon the concrete I was standing on burned the bottoms of my feet a bit. And I remembered those hot January to March days. So I am soaking up every balmy breeze I find! These beautiful breezy days remind me a tad bit of fall back in the US. Now if the leaves would change color, I couldn't ask for more!
