The first days

The ride to the airport. I stood in the airport. 12 totes on a stack, five carry ons, and six backpacks. Are we crazy trying this? Thankfully we had three adults. And three children! Kelsey kept a very watchful eye on her little brothers. Kenny took totes and all the passports to the check in counter. I cringed just a bit because sometimes they frown when they see totes, but we were met with big grins. "How many do you have? We will take them all! The weight is so perfect! Did you weigh them at home?" Suzanna hadn't known the carry on has a weight limit so her's was a bit heavy. "Can you move something to another one?" So we shifted things around and were soon on our way.   Security always makes me a bit nervous. But we were very early so there were no lines and we were met with smiles and understanding. We arrived at our gate with two hours to spare. Everyone was hungry so Kenny and the boys went to eat while Suzanna, Kelsey and I stayed with the bag

Sale Day

This post should have been done last week! But oh, well, there was no time till now. Sale day was a day I dreaded but couldn't wait for it to be over. We had no idea how much work getting ready for a sale is. We had a huge crowd for a Friday afternoon. So many people showed up just to support us. Humbling to sat the least! Our big shop felt tiny! Kenny and I visited with people in the back while things sold, I had no desire to watch, but enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. Thanks to my friends to chat with. Our auctioneer did a fantastic job and everything sold exceptionally well.  Austin and his cousins had fun running here and there. Kelsey wanted to watch things sell and was happy when friends got some of her things. I was do glad for my sister who managed to put Brent to sleep and held him for over an hour while he slept. Are we having a sale or a wedding? In spit of having a round of the flu the week of the sale, with the help of family
